Just a quick question
This is a quote from:[link]http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4950703/tm.htm[/link]
ORIGINAL: Mindcrime the engine leaking is normal, you can put a washer behind the collet to help with it. most of the leaking is actaully oil, not un burnt fuel, if you are getting unburt fuel then chances are you have the engine way too rich. (this is also the same engine that is in the Xray, and Caos) I have the same problem, but i was wondering where the collet is on the 1/16th Vulcan SE. My engine keeps pouring out fuel practically, after every run i spend more time cleaning the dam mess. Thanks in advance |
RE: Just a quick question
well, all nitro cars do this. it is completely normal. if you must, put a washer around the collet. it is the place on the front of the engine where the crankshaft comes out of the block. hope this helped.
ps. cleaning gunk all the time is a tradeoff of choosing nitro. if you dont wanna clean this thing, you shoulda chose the irc photon. |
