Afterburners

Flew plane. Engine running well but after taxiing back and manually shutdown, engine didn't go into auto cool down. Moved throttle to full power and still nothing. Grabbed a blower to manually cool down. While still powered up, hooked up HDT and it would not initialize. Powered down ECU and powered back up and it started automatic cool down and HDT initialized.. Now this engine had a problem with a cold solder joint on the Multiplex connector at the ECU which caused a shutdown right after takeoff last year causing loss of the airframe and engine along with ECU was given to Jet Central at KY jets and they repaired it. Reason I bring that up is because if there is a communication error between the ECU and engine via that Multplex cable, the HDT will fail to initialize. Has had about ten successful flights in a new airframe but this lack of communication after shutdown is a bit concerning.

I don't know the cause of this problem but I donīt like it
I suggest don't fly it anymore and send it to Manny, we will replace the turbine electronics to be sure
