Default JETCAT 180NX not starting

HI ALL

Hoping someone can assist.
I have a Jetcat 180nx with v10 ECU but cannot get it to start.
The turbine ingintes and has a reasonable flame inside with the U-accel1 set at 250.
But as soon as it starts to ramp up, I suspect switch to U-accel2, the flame goes out and turbine does not start.
Engine just floods.

It looks like as soon as ecu start the accelaration and the starter starts increasing the rpm the flame is blown out or to much fuel and it "drowns" the flame.

U-accel2 I have tried at 600 amd was orginaly set at 750. ECU does not allow setting below 600 on this parameter.

Any ideas or help please.

Thanks
KEN

Url2 must be above the idle value, so should be 0.8+
Try URL-1 at 0.200 and URL-2 at 0.850

if it runs you must run to full power!

Hi Dave

Thank you for the feedback.

I have tried the setting as sugessted, but no go. With Uaccel1 on 200 I do not even get a small flame.
Only on 250 above does a flame start inside.

But as soon as it starts the swithover the flame goes out and the engine floods.

NX is different to the 180 RXi I have so cannot say I can try different pump or so.
Pump is working and there is fuel in the engine ( keep on pouring it out afyer each failed start) but no ignition after the intial light up.

I cannot figure out why as yet.

Thanks again.

What software version is in your ECU?
Try doing a complete reset hold Select menu button and power on. Hold for 40 secs
Re learn the radio and try a start

HI Dave.

Version says 10.4E.
Done complete reset and tried again. But no luck.

Took a video, but do not know how to or even if I could upload.

Guess the best is to send engine in to Jetcat for checking.

Regards
Kenneth

Ok, 10.4E is late enough. I guess to save time going back and forth get JC to check it, without seeing what is happening it’s difficult, but something is not normal.

You can create a YouTube account, using the app on your Phone or Tablet. Upload the video to your account, then post a link to the video as it appears on YouTube? Hope this makes sense.

Very nice! I had a similar situation with a P80.

Enjoy
