Default Lithium batteries

Why does JetCat USA not recommend the use of Lithium batteries with their ECU's and Turbines (see page 23/74 of the Instruction manual)?

Default RE: Lithium batteries

Hello,

In the past, many lithium cells could not generate the current needed to start turbines, especially those using kerosene start.

With the latest generation of cells (20C for example) this is less of a concern, and many people are successfully using lituium polymers with the JetCat system. I would suspect the next update of the manual will reflect this.

Regards,
