Jetcat on diesel

Well I tried diesel on my 2005 P-120 with Kerostart and it shutoff showing hot temp. Was running then shutoff. Switched back to JET A perfect. I guess my engine doesn’t like diesel! My manual does say if the pump voltage is to high flames may come out of the back. That I did see. Here is the message.

Can you see what the actual temp was?

I scrolled thru the menus and couldn’t find it. I did lower the pump voltage slightly since a note in the Jetcat warned about long flames etc. tried again and it worked. The set voltage was at .175. I lowered it to .150. I set it back to .175 and it worked also. Maybe it was an anomaly. The diesel smokes a lot it was funny. Here is my idle temp.

Looks good now.

Hello, I am new to turbines,
In my case a P180RX that is still working with JET A1, but where I live (Uruguay) it is difficult to get that fuel so at some point I am going to switch to diesel

Can it be said that if
I do a test on the ground by accelerating the turbine, and checking the temp
the temperature drops later in flight?

Regards!

Is Kerosene available to you? I use Kero on my two JC engines and on my 20 years old TJT300 ( made from Arte's parts ) and my two Kingtech ones ( K140E and K80G1 ) on the K80 I adjusted the PW a few points down and that did it for the initial flames.

The kerosene available in uruguay cannot be used in these turbines
has a red tint that leaves a lot of residue when burned, Bad kero

We have here a jetcat that we sent to service in Germany with a kero sample,
all injectors clogged
They denied us to use that fuel.- Hehe ;)

The kerosene you have in the USA is yellow, right?

where do they buy that?

What is this kero sold for?

The Kero that we use here is also red and it is to be use on farming equipment, the Kero here we get it from the pump much like diesel, it is clean and thinner that diesel, we also filter the heck out of it and add algaecide.

Kerosene from the bulk plant or in cans from the likes of Home Depot, is clear.

ANYTHING tinted red is considered off road uses "Farm" and is not subject to the fuel taxes associated with gasoline or diesel. In my neck of the woods, I have never seen anything but diesel tinted red.
