Burning out glow plugs

I have a propane start Jetcat Titan and have recently been burning out glow plugs. This happens when I'm at the field, I'll get 2 good starts, fly and on the 3rd start, the plug will fail? I'm using mcoy #9's.
Any idea what a good setting should be?

Have try to adjust the plug voltage down a bit?

When you pull the coil do you use a pin? Grab the first coil to get it clear enough to then hook the second coil and pull that out.
