P-70 Spool Time

Hey guys,

John Redman mentioned he had some setting tweaks to help the P-70 spool-up time. Care to detail those for me?

As far as I know, all of these adjustments are made during final testing in California. There may have been a few early P-70s that could benefit from adjustments, but not the newer ones. Better check with John.

I did Matt.. thanks. Going to call him today after work to take care of it. The P-70 I put in my F-86 is serial 2040 I think.. something like that.. so John said it needed some tweaks. Starts and runs PERFECTLY though.. just very slow to spool up off low idle.

Doug, John walked me through the changes to mine and Wow it is great now. Are you joining us at Prado next weekend. I plan on doing the first flights on my F-86 that weekend.

Got the changes I needed taken care of yesterday.. Thanks John. I'll bring the other P-70 with me to St. George for you to take with you.
