I want to consider a P60 installation with a jet pipe and cannot find any info for dia.. max length.. bellmouth to pipe entry gap etc. Can you help with this please. Thanks David |
RE: P 60 PIPE
Hi David,
I do not know of anyone at JetCat USA that has run a P-60 in an internal installation, but Tam of Tamjets has with great success (new prototype F-16, AWESOME plae). I would suggest talking to him. I need to call him on another matter so I will remind him of your question. Sorry for the delay, Matt |

RE: P 60 PIPE
Hi Shok
thanks for the reply. Is it possible to give me the dia .lenght and set back from turbine nozzle you are currently using. Also the lenght of the pipe. I am going to install this setup in a Vampire and as yet have not decided on the exact location of the turbine. The original JPX version weighed 4 1/4 lb and was installed at the rear hatch but with a modern P 60 weighing half that I am considering a central installation due to the CG and boom lenght. Thanks David |
RE: P 60 PIPE
the setback from the nozzle is about a 1/4 inch
Not totally sure on the diameter. I think the entrance of the pipe is about 3.5 and the exit is about 3 inches. Length is around 20 inches. The plane is at a friends house getting minor repairs. I'll see I can get the exact numbers. |
RE: P 60 PIPE
