Range problems
 

Hi Guys,
I've installed the latest p-120 with components in my Avonds F-16 and I'm now performing range checks per the method outlined in JR's web site. Range is fine with ECU/Rx on and turbine/fuel pump off. Range is poor with ECU/Rx on and turbine/fuel pump on. Do you have any advice for improving the range? Capacitor on the fuel pump? Antennae placement? I have one of those base loaded Revolution antennae and a pcmS JR Rx.

These issues seem very rare for a JetCat ECU unless it is a version 2.0. How old is the system?

If it is a new P-120 with a version 5.0 ECU adn such, I would look at the radio gear as the first problem. What receiver are you running, extensions, adn the base loaded antenna would be the first places I would look.
