Default Lets talk about JR11X 2048 resolution

I have a JR11X and have a few questions on 2048 resolution. I know that to get the 2048 resolution from the transmitter, you also have to have a receiver that delivers 2048 resolution, right?
Another question. If I have the 2048 resolution from the transmitter and a receiver putting out 2048 resolution, I also have to have servos that will receive and deliver 2048 resolution, right?
I use only Hitec digital servos at this time, but it's time to experiment. I know that only the Hitec 7xxx series servos will deliver 2048 resoluton, If you use Hitec 5xxx series servos, you will only get 1024 resolution even though you have a transmitter and receiver that has 2048. Am I right?

Remember the old saying, 'A chain is only as strong as its weakest link'??

if your weakest link is 1024 resolution, that's all you'll ever get out of that part of the system.

too answer your question 1024 bit resolution from Tx input to Aerofoil surface variation can only reach 1024 resolution but why care?

The resolution is a function or I should say processing capacity of the IC chip encoders/ decoders.
The Transmitter can transmit at 2048 resolution (very fine graduations if you like0 the Reciever can receive ethe full 2048 bit information stream. the servos stated work at half that resolution or 1024.

I very much doubt anyone could tell the difference even with general test equipment. ie your talking minute resolution or another way of describing it, minute data variations. It enables smoother faster operations but as I said a human is hard pressed to discern between even a second and a micro second let alone nano seconds
