Default Best source for JR servos?

I am building my first 2M F3A plane. I would love to run JR servos, but it is hard to measure Horizon's prices against the Tower discounts and Futaba. Is there a good source for buying $400-$500 worth of JR servos?

I get mine from Horizon Hobbies....Not cheap, but neither are my planes.
I had a guy suggest that I get analog servos....only 39 bucks each....On a $5,000.00+ airplane.....
Sorry Charlie......I'm willing to pay the price. The only other servos I have are HI Tech....throttle and lesser functions....canopy etc.
That's not to say that they aren't any good, it's just a practice of mine since I switched from Airtronics several years ago.
Enjoy your flying by feeling secure.

The prices for JR servos are not cheap, but I can testify that they worth the price. I've been flying them for over 30 years. Not only that but after crashes when I send them for repairs, HH charges only for parts replaced, not to go over them. You need to consider not only the introductory price, but the cost in the long run.
Good luck

Unfortuneately Horizon do not sell them in UK. Is there anyone over here that has similar after sales service.

Try contacting Horizon and ask them.

I am not concerned about the cost of the servos, just want to get them from the right place. Truthfully this came up when comparing to high end Futabas. Tower would give all kinds of discounts: quantity discount, free shipping, and anoher $60 off my order. So wanted to see if there was a good source for deals on JR since I'm going to be spending over $100 per servo.

I got some from Chief Aircraft - they had the 8411 for $100, and once I put that and two 9411's in my cart, shipping was free.

Good servo but since I've been using the Spektrum A6030, I've been really happy with them.

Pretty much the same specs but the price is about 20 - 30 bucks less per servo.

Might consider checking a couple out the next time you're in the market.

I hope the Spektrum servos prove to be good. It is too early (or haven't heard enough positive reports) for me to trust them in a contest plane. I tried to get some for another project but they were on back-order for ages.
