Default 9505 Duel Ele

How do I program two elevators servos?
I have tried the flaperon and normal wing types.
By mixing ele with Aux 2 or Aux 4 I can get it to work but....no trim on one elevator.
This plane also has flaps so I need them also.

I assume you mean the JR 9503? Like the 9303, the proper way to set up Dual Ailerons and Dual Elevators is to set the Wing Type to Normal and use the Mate parameter to specify the channel you wish to Mate with the Right Aileron and/or the Right Elevator. If you plan on using the Ailerons as Flaps, then you would choose a Wing Type of Flapperon.

I had the same problem with my DX8. There was a setting that activated the trim on the mixed control surface. On the DX8, that setting was in the mix settings. Not sure where you find it on a JR. The other option is to mechanically set both servo's linkages correctly and matched (i.e. where no trim is needed.). I typically go back and mechanically set the linkages so that no trim is needed,, once I maiden and get an idea where they need to be. That way you can use different transmitters w/o worrying about having to retim, etc.

Try this:

Hook up 2 Servo Elevator

#1. Go to DEVICE SELECT and rotate the roller until you are under AUX3 (on the bottom of the screen), Press the roller and INH AUX3
#2. Go to WING TYPE: NORMAL and rotate the roller until you are under ELEV, Press the roller and select AUX3.

NOTE: You may have to REVERSE AUX2 OR AUX3 or both depends on the hookup of the linkage.

NOTE:
Connect the Elevators Right Elevator to Elevator and Left Elevator to Aux3.

Rich is correct, using mates is the only way to get the trim to follow.

Ha, Thanks a bunch guys...you were all a great help. Now it works.
But, how/where do you find this "mate" thing?
Using two channels for the ailerons it's "mate" would be??
Thanks
Jim

When using the DEVICE SELECT you are using the MATE function.
Dual Ailerons:
Hook up 2 Servo Aileron non Flaperon

#1. Go to DEVICE SELECT and rotate the
roller until you are under AUX2 (on the bottom of the screen), Press the roller and INH AUX2.
#2. Go to WING TYPE: NORMAL and rotate the roller until you are under AILE, Press the roller and select AUX2.

OK,
Thanks COD for that information.
Now I think I am getting the hang of it.

Everybody have a good flying New Year ahead.

The attachment will show a good start of inhibiting switche3s in Device select and then going to Wing type to mate surfaces for ailerons and dual elevater.
