Actually, there was no leap frogging!
I ordered this one several weeks ago, along with other stuff, and
the order was processed and shipped as soon as the back ordered items including
the DX9 were available. Free shipping also came into play.

At this point, I've about finished the voice assignments, and established a base
aircraft configuration for many of the switches. The next challenge is to decide how to set up flight modes,
and the associated gory details. I'd like to have the normal trim setup for all conditions, and a separate trim
function for the flight modes.
Let's see what the modes might be
Take Off Cruse Land Low High Speed Pass 3D come to mind.
Five modes mean two switches, so one switch should have at least two of the more basics.

Avatars can be changed!

<Spektrum>
Generator="DX9"
VCode=" 1.01"
Originator= "String deleted"
mmNum=2
bCode=0
PosIndex= 5
Type=Acro
curveIndex= 7
enabXPLUS=Disabled
modelImage= 1 (Avatar entry)
Name="AcroBIPE"
</Spektrum>

The spm file generally is the same as the DX 18
As a result, I wonder what "undocumented" features are actually available/supported.
XPlus being the first, for example.

Ummm....

He's not talking about you personally chuckk2, he's talking about Spektrum leap frogging the rest of the manufacturers with the new technology. 'Course SOME people like Dick (rmh), have "leap frogged" other people and had these radios for some time, but they were all black....

If you have trouble registering a DX9, you may now talk directly to Product Support. The process is in place with them to have your radio serviced. It will be updated and returned very quickly.

You no longer need to send the info to me.

Thanks for bearing with us. It took a little work to figure out what had happened and how to correct it.

Ok, so the online method does not work? I've spend way too much time this weekend trying to update off the SD card and then manually with no success. That's pretty frustrating guys. Must be a better way....can't seem to get any updates until I register or speak with someone to record my registration?

Online works for 99% of the transmitters. If it rejects your serial number, contact Product Support so they can verify it and issue a call tag if necessary.
