Default Jr x9303 and servo travel

I am putting together a new plane and am using my 5 year old x9303 2.4 radio. I have set the D/R to max and the trvl adj. to max and only get about 1/4in. travel.

is there any other place on the radio to adj. servo travel, I have went thru the book several times.

Did you do a Model Reset before you started this new setup? If not, there could be something left over from the previous model.

I did not do that at first, but when I got into trouble I did a model reset..

I think I will do two resets in a row, I think I had to do that at one time on a plane that would not come around.

But I think the real problem is in the RX, its a new one with a lot of bells and stuff. It has the 3 channel gyro , etc.

ok, I went back and reset model twice and no help. everything else is good!!!!
well the motor ( elect) stays at 30 amps no mater what prop I put on it. I went from a 13/8 to a 15/7 and still draw 30 amps.
I started to wonder if I had a bad servo, so I plugged the elev into gear and mixed gear and elev.

I have all kinds of up elev and limited down ( down is still enough to fly it ) what's up with that????

big problem, by doing this I lose the gyro for the elev !!!
