turnigy lipo in a dx-7s

Default turnigy lipo in a dx-7s

i would like to use a turnigy 7.4 volt lipo that is advertised for a dx-8......i know the spektrum battery has a built in balance system....can i charge the turnigy lipo in the transmitter, or will i have to charge it outside the transmitter? thanks.........pault

The Turnigy one performs identically to the Genuine Spektrum. I have three of them, in two DX8s and one DX7S. They will charge in the radio and the charge light on the radio will turn off when it is fully charged.

My friend has the Genuine Spektrum Battery in his DX7S. There is no difference in how they operate. I have been using mine for over 2 years in the DX8s and over 18 months in the 7S. They work great.
