DX7s
I have a DX7s and I'm trying to program the Top Flight AT-6 Texan to it. problem is when going thru the usual set up I pick the wing type for this plane which is 2 ailerons and 2 flaps. once this configuration is chosen i cant assign any switch's for the flaps or landing gear which is the next step. can anyone help me with this

Flap switch is assigned in the Flap System menu. If you are using 2ail 2 flp you are out of luck for gear though. Your out of open channels. You need to Y harness the Flaps or Ail to free up a channel for the Gear.

thank for your input but everything you said has already been done....its like I said...once you choose the duel Aileron and duel flap in the wing type set-up. No switches can be assigned. even in the flap system when you set-up the degree of deflection the flaps dont work at all. thanks for your help just the same.

Ok.Im lost. You did everything I said? Lets back up. You go to FlapSystem menu. Not Switch Select.By default when you go into Flap menu it will say Inhibit. You roll/click and make the box blink.Right? Then when you roll it scrolls away from Inhibit into the switch selections for Flap. You have to have a switch selected to even open the Flap menu to enter values.I dont understand how you can enter values but not have a switch assigned.
Im going to assume you put the 2 Flaps on a Y harness? You then need to go back to Wingtype and select 2ail 1flap. Look on Monitor screen to see where each servo needs to be plugged into the Rx.Use the order of the Monitor and not the Rx label. With 2ail 1 Flap you have Aux2 open for use on the Gear. Now you can go to Switch Select menu and assign Aux2 to Gear switch.

great news....another one of my club members helped me out. the problem was in the wing type set-up. since the ailerons and flaps are on Ys the proper set-up is actually 1 ail 1 flp. once this was chosen everything works great. i really thank you for trying to help me out. thanks again and happy flying to you.
