Question JR Kill Switch ?

I have a JR TLS1-ISW optically isolated ignition kill switch.
How do I get it to switch between it's 2 modes of operation?

The instructions seem to tell you to do the same thing for both modes...
It seems to be working in safety mode but I want just normal mode.

Yes, the instructions are not clear. Here is how to do it.

I used Channel 05 (gear) and used the two position switch 'L" on my 28X. XG-8 and -XG-14 probably similar setup.
Initially make sure Channel 05 is not reversed.

A. Single Flip mode.
Go to 'TRAVEL ADJUST' screen
Single flip mode will work with Channel05 setting (100%, 100%) or (100%, 0%)
This mode switches ignition switch on or off for each position of the 2-position switch.

B. Double Action Mode.
Go to TRAVEL ADJUST screen.
Set to (0%, 100%)
This mode one position of the switch is on or off and is changed by
toggling back and forth.
Try it to see if you prefer that mode.

You may want to experiment by reversing the channel 05.direction.
If reversed you will need to change the travel adjust values.

bjw4072,

Thanks so much !
Once I did what you described, I was able to get it out of the Double Action Mode and into the Single Flip Mode.

Here is what I did:
I am using the JR 28X transmitter.

I am using switch J for my ignition kill switch.
I use switch I for my choke servo.
It's like this just because all of my planes are setup this way...

I went into travel adjust for Aux6 (my ignition kill channel) and set the endpoint to 100.0% and 0.0%.
This got the Single Flip Mode working.
Then I went into Hardware Setting and touched switch J, on the screen.
Then under Reverse, I set it to ON.

Switch J is actually a three position switch. I have it setup so that Pos 0 & Pos 1 are ignition on and Pos 2 is ignition off. I figure two switch positions with ignition on is safer than just one. Less chance of turning it off by mistake.
