Default DMSS Altitude Sensor

Does anyone know if the altitude snsor, JR TLS1-ALT DMSS ALTITUDE SENSOR, announces using the voice function? I recently purchased the Vario, hoping it would, but only displays the altitude, no voice. There is no instructions that I can find either.

Unless you have added V-Speak to your JR XG transmitter, you will not get voice announcements for any telemetry sensor. I can’t say what the 28X does.

Dale,

On my 28X I get altitude telemetry readout on demand. I believe it needs version -0006. With earlier versions you only have sounds for up to three preset altitudes.

Select the icon for Altitude. Press and hold the Altitude button. You can set the three altitude alarms in that window. Use Common Settings to set the Voice Output and assign to a switch.

Hope this helps.
