Default FrSky into a JR X8103 antenna question.

Hi All.

I am getting back in after years of other stuff and I am putting a FrSky DJT module in my JXX8103 transmitter. My questions is, do I need to remove the 72 Mhz telescoping antenna? The FrSky module has a short little omni attached to it, but I have seen nothing about the need to remove the original. I have seen a photo with the original antenna removed but I do not know if it is necessary. I would like to keep the antenna intact since I still have a number of planes/receivers with the old receivers. Purchasing new receives only as required for addition planes.

Thanks for any advice and Cheers!

Dave

Best to ask in a Frksy forum. There might be somebody there who knows.
