Default DX8 + flaps

I am trying to set up an Ultra Stick with flaps an I am having a problem getting it to work.I am using an AR8010t rx .I set the wing type type to 2 ailerons and 2 flaps,One aileron is plugged into the aileron port and the other is plugged into the aux 1 port. That works ok.The problem is getting the flaps to work. What ports should I use and what should the switch select be? I am trying to not use y connectors.I know it is simple but I cannot get it to work.Think it is a case of "old fartiism"
Thanks
Bob

Go into your servo monitor screen, it will tell you where to plug LFLP (left flap) and RFLP (right flap) into

Then go into the flap menu that is now active since you have 2 servo flaps selected in wing type, scroll to the bottom and select the switch, knob, or slider you want to use, I use a 3 position switch, that is the only way to get elevator compensation.
