Default DX7 and AR6110e

I'm a newbie to Spectrum radios and electric powered. I have set up a delta wing with my DX7 and AR6110e receiver. Everything works fine, except that the throttle stick has to be 50% of the way up before the motor turns on. So where did I go wrong?

The AR6110e rx's were among the most copied rx's ever on the market. MOST are Chinese copycats.

Check your Monitor on the radio. Does the throttle move on there end to end with the stick? If not, then you need to figure out why. It's a configuration thing in your transmitter. Throttle Curve is a likely candidate. (We could have checked this for you had you posted the SPM file for the model with your initial query. You can always attach one if you are having trouble figuring it out).

Assuming the Monitor shows end-to-end travel, put a servo on in place of the ESC. Does it move with the throttle stick from end to end? If not, then your receiver is bad - and as Zeeb pointed out, unless you bought it 10 years ago, it's a fake.

If the servo does move correctly, then the problem is your ESC. It needs to be calibrated to work with your system. What ESC is it? Got a link to the manual?

Okay, found the answer, throttle calibration.
