Danny,
I am using Flapperon on my 8103 to get my ailerons working. I have the ailerons working fine and the elev-flap mix set for spoilerons and that also works fine. Is there any way to de-activate the flap rotary knob so the ailerons dont move if that knob is spun?
Example, I have dual elevator servos set up with P-Mix 5.
ELEV - AUX 3.
Then I turn the ATV for Aux 3 to zero for both directions so the aux 3 side of the elevator cannot be moved if that knob is moved.
Can this be done with the flap knob? If I turn the flap knob's ATV's to zero that aileron wont move......
Help?

Shhhh. Danny is still resting up from the holiday
Wayne, the 10X has a menu choice called Function. Does the 8103 have that?
If so, select the function you want to inhibit and that should do it. Let me know if that helps_bob

Wayne,
You can take the flap pot out one of a couple different ways. The easiest is to go to the flap pot function. Turn the 8103 on, press the down and select buttons together. On the right hand side you should see FLAP POT. Press the up key till you get the arrow to point at this. Then press the up and down keys together. Then press clear till it says Pot. INH. And your done. The other way, and quite useful to take out other functions. I like this a lot better than zeroing the travel as it doesn't affect other functions. Do a mix in mix 3 or 4, mix the channel for the pot in question to itself. So in the case of the flap pot, this would be a mix channel 6 to channel 6. Then make the percentage -100% on both sides. This will eliminate the function of the pot, while still allowing you to adjust the travel, etc much easier. But for the flap pot in the 8103, this mix is usually not required to take out the flap pot, unless you want it on a switch. I hope this helps!
