Default initial power up

I just found this forum so forgive me if this has been asked before.
I have an aircraft with pneumatic retracts that are operated by a valve, actuated by a servo. I have a new 9303 for this aircraft. When I turn on the power to the plane, all the servos move causing the gear to retract until the transmitter is turned on and the connection is made. It doesnt matter if i turn on the reciever first or the transmitter. Once the system is "holding hands" I can turn off the transmitter and the servos do not move. Is there a way to prevent me from having the gear try to retract every time i swich the reciever on?
I'm probably going to feel stupid when this is answered.

Thank you,
Cody
