separate channels for each Aileron
Hello, I have a DX 6i radio with a AR6110 receiver in a Eflite Extra 260.
I want to have a channel for each aileron (one channel for the right Ail. and one channel for the left Ail). I know how to do this on the DX7 radio but I cant do this on the DX6i. I dont get the option for the Aux 1 channel in the 2 program Mixes.
I want to use the AUX 1 channel and not the gear channel on the receiver. How can I do this?
I know I can use the one Ail. channel and use a "Y" but I dont want to do this.
Thanks for the help.

RE: separate channels for each Aileron
OK, Here goes.
Get into the Function mode and go to "Input Select"
1. Aux2: INH
AUX2 Trim: INH
Flap: System
Flap Trim: ACT
2.Wing Type
Flaperon : ON
V-TAil OFF
3. D/R Switch Select = FLAP0
Now go to System Mode..........
1. Next set up your dual rates using the 3 position Flight Mode switch. I set bottom (N) for high rates, Middle (1) for Low, and top position (2)for LOW rates/Flaps. By doing it this way you negate the chance of accidently going to flaps when you meant to go to high rates!
2. Reversing Switch set Aile Reversed
3. set subtrims
4. Set Travel Adjust
5. Elev-> Flap Mix
Rate: D-18% or more
Up- 0
Switch: MIX (Note you will have off or on depending on the position of the throttle hold switch. I use the "ON" position to set my Elevators to automatically level the plane for landings in case you get to much FLOAT
6. Flap Sys.
Set all to zero EXCEPT Land
LAND DN 65%
AUTO INH ( you can later set this value to any percent of throttle you prefer. This automatically lifts the flaps as you add throttle in an aborted landing attempt. Nice feature!
7. Differential Flaperon = 0
8. Prog. MIX1
Flap-> ELEV
RATE: 0
-20 or to suite your taste
SW; MIX
Offset: 0
Good luck and keep the prop out of the ground!!!!!
