Horizon or JR America's
Need your opinions.
I have a JR XG14 that needs to go in for service for a broken switch..... (that was upsetting and whole other story). The dilemma is where to send it. I have had great success over the years with Horizon service but it would make more sense these days to send it to JR America's for service? |
I had my XG14 in for service at Horizon about 9 months ago. They are still selling JR stuff. Same old great service. I am wondering of JR America has a service Dept.?

I too don't think JR Americas has a service department. Part of the original agreement between them (Advantage Hobbies I think?) and Horizon is that Horizon would continue to do the service work. I sincerely doubt that arrangement has changed e.g. you send your JR DMSS unit to JR Americas, and they take it across the street to Horizon....

Just got my 28x back from service/update from JR Americas. They did everything I asked in a timely fashion. I wouldn't hesitate to send your radio repairs there. Paul |

Yes they do, I just talked to the people at Horizon very nice, he said they DO NOT work on JR products any more since they had a falling out with JR America FYI!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the notice. The falling out must have been very recent. I sent my XG-14 to them to replace a broken switch, they fixed it and returned it without any issues.
