Spektrum DX8 Gen2 Can't get retracts and flaps to work
 

Hi. Have problems getting radio to see retract and flap channels. The four basic flying functions work ok. I did have the retracts to work but when I was playing around trying to the flaps to work I lost the retracts. This is the first time I have tried a plane with retracts and flaps. Transmitter is a Spektrum DX8 Gen 2 and the receiver is a Spektrun AR610.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. These new radios are new to me. I last flew Kraft equipment in the 70's.

Go to the wing type menu and tell it you have flaps, if its single servo then plug it in where it tells you and the gear into the empty aux channel.

In the Channel Assign menu scroll over to input select, go to the aux channel and flip the switch you want to be the gear.

Then use the flap menu in the main menu that will appear once you set the wing type to set the flaps up, you can choose speed, elevator compensation and switch assignment there.
