JR XR2 steering linearity issue

Greetings,
I have a JR XR2 radio and gear setup for my stadium truck and new TC3. The stadium truck uses the full spectrum (factory default) of the steering travel that is programmed in the radio by default and has been performing flawlessly. Recently, I purchased a TC3 and began racing it. The steering channel has too much travel and I have set it for ~ 50% Right and left, and an overall travel of 70%. My problem is that the percentages do not appear to be linear. While the radio settings indicate identical right and left settings, the travel right has too much gain. Even the slightest right movement results in a sever right turn. I have tried to eliminate the servo centering by setting the radio reading to 0 and peforming a physical centering of the steering mechanism. Am I doing anything wrong, is there a setting that I am missing ?

Thanks and Regards... Rory

RE: JR XR2 steering linearity issue

You can either adjust mechanically to get more throw one way than the other, or reduce the EPA with left wheel movement to reduce the overall throw which will reduce the sensitivity somewhat.
