"Throttle Hold" in Acro Mode
Hi Danny,
I have a 9303 "Heli" version. When I use it with my elec. heli I use the Throttle Hold switch to cut the throttle, for saftey pruposes when beginning or ending a flight. Set to sub zero in the hold position so the motor can't/won't start if the throttle/pitch stick is accidentally bumped. Now I am getting into electric Planes. How can I set up the same type of situation when in "Acro" mode. Using the Throttle Hold switch in the same manner? This is my first programmable radio, so I'm still learning how to program various functions. I have copies of all the manuals but the switch schematics for the "Heli" version are the same drawings as the "Acro" version so I'm having difficulty transposing the switch identity and location from Heli to Acro. Sort of a "hunt and peck" approach. Appreciate your help, Rich |
RE: "Throttle Hold" in Acro Mode
You could do the same thing with the hold switch. It would work the same. There are other ways as well, such as using the throttle curve and setting up a flight mode with that setting, or through program mixing. However, if you want to set it up the same as what you are doing now, you can.
