12X Throttle-rattle.
Recently changed from F.to JR 12x.Amazing quality sticks, but is there a standard build in rattle for the throttle stick?
Thanks for info. Erik. |
RE: 12X Throttle-rattle.
Chances are that it is the throttle return arm spring retainer. As the spring is not fitted, it is free to move up and down.

I have to open the transmitter I suppose?

RE: 12X Throttle-rattle.
Correction to my last, have just opened up a DSX12 to source a similar rattle. The throttle stick is fully screwed down so it's not likely to be that.
The antenna has a metal shroud at the tip that forms the half wave dipole antenna. Tap the antenna end to see if that is the cause of the rattle. If so, then I wouldn't worry about it. |
RE: 12X Throttle-rattle.
Did you follow the manual to adjust the rudder tension? If so, that is what's causing the rattling sound.
The problem is... the manual incorrectly states where to find the rudder and throttle tension. The real throttle tension adjustment can be found underneath the rubber stopper located at the lower right corner of the module slot (just above the battery door). The adjustment screw found at the upper-right end seems to be the actual rudder tension adjustment. Hope this helps. |

Yes,you are very right.I already found your solution, but up to now I did not found a real throttle-rattle.I was used to have on my F, small steps in the movement of the throttle-stick.Thanks anyway!!
