Default K-60G Startup Parms

Changing a disel over to Jet-A but the complete starting Parms are not in my book. Would anyone kindly list their table that you have found runs good? Thanks loads.

Roy.

You know the K-60 is so new, they just might not know any other "better" settings than the ones they have been running. Still, I've found Barry to be ultra responsive and usually answers the phone and if not returns calls quickly....so maybe the phone is the best method here. Then post what you find out.

That's what I Fig Swps. Looks like no one has run it on anything other than disel. I have mine doing ok just some flames right after the preheat. I'm on the road now but will work with it more when I get back. Mine came setup on disel so realt didn't know where to start for jet-A. In my manual, all the settings are there for all turbines but the K-60G.

I flew mine twice on diesel yesterday and I still get flames for about a second or two after pre-heat, nothing big but they are still there and always have been. I'm not sure if a switch to Kero or Jet-A would make a difference. And to be honest, the convenience of diesel isn't making me want to go try.

Well ya have to use what's best for what you can get. I will work it out and or get it the best I can. If I don't get Rid of the flames, I will just not install it in front of a thrust pipe but rather on a boomer and use a pipe to start it like we use on a Shock Jet.

Ok guys. After much tweaking, I finnaly have my K-60g flame free running Jet-A. It's a whacked out setting but it started 5 times today with no flames. My confedence is restored. Nice little engine. Now to decide which airframe to install it in. Ha. I wonder if it would push my Global Jet Club CT-114???? lol.

So, what did you have to change to for it to start flame free?

Sorry for the delay Roy, been away for awhile, hope you all had a great summer! Here's what the factory has finalized and should work well on Diesel
