Default Pipe dimension for K-85

Hello,

Could anyone advise what would be the tail pipe dimensions (diameter) for a K-85 installation?
Thanks in advance
Regards,

For the 70 you can use a 55mm diam. (at the tail)... same pipe as for the 45. This is what I have been told and already installed on my HSD SV.

some has to do with the manufacture of the pipe. A well built pipe can be made smaller and lighter for the same size engine. You should try and contact who ever you are getting your pipe made from and see what they recommend. I like HIEP CUSTOM PIPES. He is the guy that was making them for Tamjets. Top notch work and hes very knowledgeable. Also Joey Tamez also makes good pipes.

gunradd,

Reason I started this post, is to have an idea about the eventual size for tail pipe for K85 installation. The MB339 came with a pipe already installed. just wanted to be sure that it was not oversized as it looked a bit wide at first glance....
