Default New, old K140E found

I couple months ago I went to the LHS to get the usual ( glue, screws, some balsa ) the airplane side sup tells me he has something that I may be interested on ( I've know him for over 19 years ) to my surprise, I see in its pristine looks, a K140E mounted on a test stand, I deduct by the color of the can it is an E version, I looked at it over and could tell that it was very possible that it had never been mounted on an airplane, all shinny, no signs of damage anywhere, with a fod screen on, all the components were there....... two months later ( yesterday ) it was runing in my garage for the first time in at least 5 years, TT 2:45 hrs, I had to go through the ECU to change a couple of things that were selected wrong for that model, clean the fuel filter and pump, tested the components, aligned the ECU with a reciver and run it, very energetic start and crispy throttle response, very happy with my finding ( or it found me ) and the deal I made with him, was to die for, a jewel from the pass, practically new, this will be my second Kintech engine, I will take this engine as my X-mass present

Now there my be an F16 for me in the near future.

Was that the one in the case down at RC Country? I’ve seen that thing a bunch of times and never even thought to ask how much.. Good deal for you!

The same one, it was sold to me the same day I saw it for the first time, I wasn't looking for one this big, the deal I got was irresistible.

Thank you

Those old K140s are tanks! they might be the most reliable engine in the whole line up.

The latest on the K140, it is in my Boomerang XL, one flight in it, the extra thrust in wonderful to have since my Boomer is 31 lbs dry.
