Default K80G1 flames on start up sequence.

My K80 is spitting a bit of flames on the start up sequence, just on the first 30-40 seconds.

Remind me which adjustment do I have to decrease.

Using Kero.

Tks.

If its during the preheat phase then preheat fuel might be a little high. You need to look when its starting to see the phase its spiting flames.

Thank you for the reply, I will have a chance to run the engine again on Wen, in the meantime, I've been reading about other's engine problems similar to mine and also found some good info about starting the turbine, including preheat in the manual on page 28.

I will let you know if the preheat changes takes care of the flames.

Tks.

Try to test it at different speeds, does it always do this at work?

Run the engine today, in a nut shell, the only adjustment I did was to the Pump PW Ignit. K, from 23 down to 17, left the pre heat as it was, now it is doing a clean start, must have a strong pump I guess, only 4 hrs on this engine.

Thank you for the advise.
