Midwest Das Bipe Stik
does anyone have the manual for this kit? I have the plans and would love to build it. I'm sure I can without it but it would help a lot. I'd be glad to pay for copying, shipping if I could get one.
Thanks,
Jim

You are in luck, the building instructions are a single sheet. 8 x14. I will take to work and scan them and email if you would like. Send me a PM with your address if you don't want it public. One side is the build the other is the material in the box.

I think it would be great to blow this up to like a 75" span and throw a gasser on it. I always wanted one of these when I was a kid, but never got around to building one. Any comments on how they flew? At this point, I think it is more about the nostalgia of these designs. I also like the Sweet and low stick. Never built one of those either

Mine flies great. Blowing it up would not be a problem. I can recall some of the original Stik's were blown up and the first gassers used. The cabanes are just bent wires, the fuse is basic box construnction, the wings are constent cord, the engine hangs out in the open, what a great large scale bipe trainer. Shame they are not kitted anymore.

We had an exchange student from Germany 4 years ago and she loved pink. Here is the Bipe Stik in Pink with Miss Sophie. And yes I had a graphic cut with Miss Sophie spelled out on the top
