1/5 Scale Pica Waco Build Thread
#76
As some of you were tracking, last summer I had a flood in my basement while on a business trip. I cant find a 1/5 Pica Waco, at least without selling a kidney..lol. So, I have the plans, the box, some wood. The wings were complete, the fuselage was framed out with supports and gear fitted, all of that was destroyed. I also have a fiberglass specialties cowl and set of pants.
Let me know if you want them. Make me an offer via PM. Make me a good offer and I will throw in some of the hardware I bought to go with it, koverall, pull pull, etc.

OS 160 Gemini
I have my 1/5 Pica waco powered by an OS 160 twin. Great power, great sound etc, BUT, I am having issues with the engine, as a matter of fact one broke a conrod and another is showing weird noices, I will need to take them apart. To the second engine I added a perry pump. (now I learned they do not work properly with these twin engines.
I have (I think) good cooling area plus aluminum baffles do direct the airflow but obviously may be not good enough. I am using Wildcat 18% oil with a bit of natural castor and 15% nitro. I know some of you have the same engine on the Waco. Has anyone experienced similar issues? Any pictures of your cooling arrangement would be wellcomed.
Thanks
