Aqua Net?? Haven't heard of that trick before!

How does that help? Do you spray the covering or the model?

Spray the wood, it seals the pores and helps the covering adhesive get a good strong bond. It also is heat activated in a way.

I got the Eflite landing gear yesterday and must say it's a DARN GOOD fit on the SIG 1/6 Cub...will remover the plastic covering over the legs and cover with Tex then re-spray olive drab.

The Aqua Net acts as a heat activated adhesive. I spray it on to the air frame, and let it dry, before covering. I use it the same as I would use Balsa Rite.

Thanks Fly...as for the Valkyrie, there's not that much to see yet...basically just the built up ribs so far...but soon, VERY SOON the build will continue, just have to complete two old timers in three weeks for our annual old timer memorial 23 July.

Well I got my Eflite Super Cub landing gear cleaned up, was going to remove the white paint with bead blasting but the guy that did it for me decided to use electrical cleaner and boy did it work nicely. Started fitting them to the fuselage but haven't fastened everything down properly as I have to anyway remove it to cover the opening in the legs as well as for spraying. This gear has quite the bungee system, it uses four of these bungees on each leg.
