I was able to get a windshield for my 25 year old Goldberg Cub from Fiberglass Specialties. Don’t know if they would have what you need. May be worth checking.

It has been a while since I started the my build. I have the floats done and working on the wire mounts right now. I decided to build the floats per the plans with the pull/pull wires for the water rudder.
I have been able to get the fuselage started and the 2 halves joined. I am now working on the mounting of the engine so I can get the front of the fuselage joined.

joining the two halves

cross pieces ready to join the back half

cross pieces glued and clamped

Gluing the float side sheeting

Thanks, It is going kind of slow as I can only spend an hour or two in the evenings. I do get some time on Sundays but it depends on other tasks I have to do in the yard or around the house.

I just started my Pro kit and I am at the point of thinking about what parts I need to order. Can you guys give me a tip on what kind and size of servos you are using in your Citabria Pro?

It has been a while since I have posted some updated pictures of my Cub.

Nose added on

Epoxy and cloth to reinforce the joint

Added tri stock to the firewall.
I have been working out how to mount the tank. I am sure I have overdesigned my solution but I wanted to have the ability of easily removing the tank if needed.

Fuel tank mounting platform

Tank and attachment to removable platform.

front cowl sheeting completed

Stabilizer and elevator. Backer blocks added as I will be using Robart pin hinges

Vertical fin and rudder. Backer blocks added here also

Fuse needs to be sanded and the corners rounded.
A few updates on my progress. I have the fuselage structure done. I need to do the final sanding and rounding the corners. Tail structure is together and the initial sanding is done on the stabilizer and elevator. I will install the hinges before I round the edges. It looks like I should be able to start on the center section and wings after Christmas break.
