Since most of my airplanes are Cubs, I'll take the next slot in the brotherhood.
Thanks, Mark

Have any of you cub brothers tried using the hangar 9 1/4 scale landing gear on a 1/4 scale Sig cub? They look pretty good and are about half the price of the Robarts.

Any thoughts?

Thanks, Roger

I don't have a Hangar 9, but the fuselage width might be wider on the H 9 making the gear too wide for the Sig. If they are the same width, that is a great idea.

The Hanger 9 gear is 6 3/4 in width and 5 3/4 in length ... That is measuring to the outside edge of the mounting bracket in both directions.

Thanks,
Eddie

I also say thank's. Even though those measurement's are to wide for the Sig, which is 6 3/4. By the photo from H-9 the center pieces could be shortened to fit.

That'll work. Guess I'll be buying me some. I wasn't going for the Robart but I'll do those.
Thank's for telling us about those.

Charles,
I am gong to pencil in May 5th on my calendar and see if I can bring my 33% Cub down and maybe my 33% Waco since they will both qualify for the fly-in.
Later!!

I just grabbed that photo somewhere and don't know what it is called. I think a big model would be excellent, say in the 160" range. Maybe someone knows what it is.

Mark.

Just checked their website. They indicate that at the current time, due to unforeseen circumstances they are NOT bringing the model back to the market. A real shame.
