Cub brotherhood shirts!!!!!!
I know I can get at least 30 or more of the brothers to buy a shirt. I have picked out a Hanes t Golden Yellow. Single color logo on back would be around $10 a few extra $ for your name on the front. the more colors we add in the logo the more the price goes us. Now your part. Between now and November 16 I iwll be accepting logo suggestions. Please send them to me at cubmanky at yahoo.com I will add them to a page and will have voting on them for 10 days During the voting time I will also take preorders. Would like to have it all done so you could have your shirt before Christmas

I'm in! How about embroidered 'Cub Brotherhood' script logo on front above the embroidered bear cub logo? RCAerotowing did same for their shirts and they look very nice.

Hey, I will take one of those shirts. Keep us informed. I like the bear logo idea and maybe incorporate the black Z strip somehow. I am no artist or I would try it.,

I went to the Copperstate Fly-In at Casa Grande Municipal yesterday... Some really nice Cubs flying there.

I made a video with all my photos here:

I would sure like to join the brotherhood. Can you please put my name on the list? I've flown a bunch of J3s in my youth and now flying a Fun Cub, assembling at Hanger 9 1/4 scale J3 Cub with a DLE 30, and have a Bill Hempel 40% clipped wing J3 in the box and a DA 120 sitting in my shop awaiting their turn. Bottom line is I love 'em and always will, I guess. I would be honored to be a member of the Cub Brotherhood. Thanks very much. Mike.

Please add my name to the list as well. Been flying one or another Balsa USA Cub or L4 since the late 80's, never been without at least one. Got three going now.

I have a dilemma. I'm currently down to just three Cubs.
I have a 1/3 BUSA J-3, a 1/3 BUSA Super Cub Pa-18 (w/Floats) and a Fly Zone 48" Super Cub.

Do I need another Cub?

Should I get a E-flite® Carbon-Z® Cub?

If I do, will I need to join another Cub Brotherhood since the Carbon Z is electric and has no Carbon or Z and no Piper?

Just wondering. . .

First anyone to say no would no longer be in the cub brotherhood.
Currently flying
Great Planes Electric Cub, Goldburg Cub, Hanger 9 J3 ¼ scale yellow, Sig/scratch J3 ¼ scale, and my ¼ scale L-4 along with a couple rubber powered cubs.
Non flying, Goldburg size twin cub. Yes a few of them have been built, twin fuselages.
On the drawing board (still ) my 1/3 scale Super Cub

I need to join another Brohood.

Been flying a eflte L-3 for 2 years but that's an L-3 not a Cub.

Just bought a real Green Modelworks yellow CUB arf. So please count me in.

Almost owned a 1:1 Cub back in 1977.

You can NEVER be 'Cub rich'! Cubman- will y'all be having a Cub fly-in in 2014? I'm getting my 'flying calender' in order and would like to put it on the list. So far it's the JR Event in Monticello, IL and the Dayton Dawn Patrol. I might even build a Cub converted to a military sailplane/ glider trainer for the JR!

Um yeah, I'd say you could use a few more, starting with the carbon-less, z-less cub.

This may not be news to all, or even many, but it is news to me. I came across a breathtaking quarter scale kit designed, I believe, by Paolo Severin and marketed by www.vogelsang-aeroscale.com that comes with a fuselage framework fully completed in stainless steel tubing and exacting replication in quarter scale of the entire model. There are several different aircraft including cubs.

Looking a some build threads it seems like building the real airplane, just in quarter scale.

For enjoyment if nothing else, I recommend a look at these beauties if you had not previously done so.

Thanks, guys.

I think the price was around $2,000. I didn't spend much time looking at that, as it is out of the question at this moment. I just dreamed and wished. Beautiful model. It is pleasurable just looking at the construction and thinking of it.
