Yes thats fine.. I believe you have diehedral braces with that kit??? Just make sure the wing is straight and not swept back on one side or the other and epoxy away.. Looks good

klord125 is correct structurally this will work. However, a little sanding would give you a better fit and therefore a better look and save sanding when you go to cover the leading edge. I started in stick built tissue covered FF models and always went for the tightest joints possible. I do the same with my R/C planes to this day. To me it's a craftsmanship issue.

FlyerInOKC makes a valid point.. You probably only have about 15 minutes worth of sanding to get a good fit.. If your sick of sanding it will work.. Like FlyerIn said its just more work in the end..

Yeah I sanded a bit more and it fits pretty tight now. There are 6 dihedral braces with this kit. There is no sweep to it. I'm doing a bolt on wing so getting the fowl right was a pain but I got it just a bit more sanding to go. My motor should arrive today so I can complete the mounting process for the fuse then I can fix rudder do a final sand and mount everything after covering it's coming along nicely. I bought an ultra micro p51 to fly wile I wait for this wing to cure! Should be fun to fly in my neighborhood until I get this real stuff built.

Great looking wing! Fixing those little mistakes is all part of building. I once got the Leading Edge too far up on the right wing and too far down on the left. It was tapered so I had a lot of sanding to do anyway so I was able to correct it.

Had to wait all day for epoxy to dry gotta put center ribs in. I got my motor in the mail today. Gotta get some engine bolts and such. I was able to solo yesterday after three flights so now I really don't need the trainer but it's fun to build anyways. Time to finish this kit

As long as the joint between the fin and the structure is properly constructed, almost any glue will be fine. I would probably use an aliphatic-resin like Titebond, clamp or pin the joint properly, and just wait until the glue dries. CA is faster, epoxy has to be mixed, but in this application, any of the glues is sufficient for the joint.

Thanks for the help everyone, I stayed up till 3am last night completing my wing. Ailerons, sheeting presanding, tips, everything is complete. Got the motor installed, now I need to sand everything for covering. One thing I have to do today is get the wing to the fuselage. I'm doing a bolt in wing. I will take lots of pictures and post them shortly. No more little sticks left to build. By the way that ultra micro p51 flies like a dream for a 16 inch wingspan that gyro in it let me fly in 15 Mphr wind worth the 100$. My buddy let me fly his 120 size super tiger low wing I glad I can still do this and make pretty landings.

Thanks gene I have worked hard on this thing. I don't have a tap to put my wing bolts in but they line up perfectly. I got all the foam glued for the battery and gas tank. Everything is nice and tight and can't move and I made it look real nice and clean. Once I get a new battery for my radio and a receiver I will pre hook up radio and such. I need to buy my covering and an iron again. I got a really awesome color scheme I hope I can pull off, it will be the coolest trainer ever if I can do what I have in mind.

Right I was lucky enough to have our club president show me hands on we covered the bottom and I got a crash course I will go slow
his cover jobs are bear perfect. I still have a lot of wing sanding and filling but fuse should go fast. I have everything to finish my plane minus a roll or two of covering. About two weeks out or less for maiden flight!!!

The greatest service a club can provide to the hobby is helping the newbies. My hat is off to your club president for giving you a hand! What kind of covering will you be working with and what is your color scheme? I recommend you stick with the same brand for the remaining colors just to be safe side. except for self adhesive trim sheets and striping I don't like to mix brands. Where are you located lyvewire?

I actually came from okc I'm in Houston now. My club gave me all electronics and tools I needed to build., let me fly their big planes and has really helped me a lot I couldn't be more grateful my trim scheme will be solid white with different color fuse bottom and neon green ooze on the leading edge of wings and stabs it's going to be amazing. I am about to buy one of the 30% shoulder wing planes running a g32 gas! For my second plane. President is finishing it now lol. I used to be in the torks of okc when I was 10 now I'm 28 so I'm just glad I can still land takeoff and fly I soloed last weekend after three flights.
