I have a friend that has a Sig 4* 40, and Ive been tasked with fixing his wing, it's busted on the LE outboard tip.
What I need is a picture of a wing rib with how long it is, I might be able to scale it up on photoshop, he does'nt have the plans, and I will have to make a rib or two to repair the wing.
Thanks Brian B.

Your post is not very clear to me.
If the leading edge is damaged it means everything behind front spar is intact (not damaged).
Glue in a piece of balsa oversized; use a straight edge to project the wing airfoil unto it and cut and shape with sanding.

Hi Zor, thanks for reply, yeah, I guess I was a little brief in my description of the damage, there are a couple ribs broken as the damage is 4" long, and 3" deep into the wing. It would be one thing if he gave all the pieces, then I could have just glued back together, but you know how that goes.

Hoghunter12,
The idea from SIMCO might be the best thing to do.
I already suggested to you how to reproduce the airfoil section.
If the spars were broken repair them with long bevel glued joint and double with ply.
If you do not have identical covering use a different one and duplicate the opposite wing.
Best satisfactory repair is my wish to you.
