Love my SIG's!

I have a modified LT-40, flattened wing, bolt down, tail dragger. OS.52 Four stroke. Love this plane, its a blast to fly and forgiving when I do something stupid. Holds up to gusty winds, but also has some decent aerobatics. It cant do a knife edge, but does square loops, flies upside down decently, and predictable towards stalls.
My other fun flyer is the 4 Star 120 with DLE20. Only mods to this one I moved the elevator servo to the tail, pull-pull rudder, and servo trays in the wing instead of having the servo arms perpendicular to the wing. Now that I have the tail wheel aligned and the CG dead on, It flies NICE! Knife edge, 8 points, snap rolls, and at full expo, WICKED controls! Cross winds make it a challenge on landings, but it just makes me a better pilot. The only thing it wont do is hover, but thats something I dont care much about. This is my second one, the first was an ARF, and the wing had some unseen issues, and snapped off in flight becoming a kit in no time. The second one was a kit build and I built that wing STRONG! Made sure every joint was glued and double glued using TitebondIII. This is a FUN plane, turns inside itself, Flips, rolls, stalls, spins, even a tuble or two( made sure I had altitude), and finally smooth as silk to land.
All I can say is SIG makes some nice planes for intermediate flyers. Easy to build, easy to modify, easy to fly. Too bad they dont have a Warbird, or it would be on my bench now! Highly recommend them, especially the LT40 for beginners and the 4 Star line up for the next stage. Great planes to learn with.
