Guage of music wire
Hi. I used a fairly heavy wire for my guillow kit and the fuselage broke installing it.is it required to use guide eyes for lighter wire. If so where can you get them? Can you make them from paper clips?

Any hobby shop will have a selection of wire. If the wire you already have a wire, then take that to the shop and compare it to lighter material. Anything you put in that type of light plane will be tedious though... as you've already found out.
Without knowing what model, or anything else about the project though, it's obviously a guess as to what gauge wire you need. I do recall somewhat you were working on a Guillows Javelin and hten a StevensAero model, or it could be something else by now... but any of those micro/mini planes will need some pretty small wire.... and actually a paper clip might be a good idea, but even that is thicker then some of the wire in a StevensAero model...
So yeah.. hopefully you have a hobby shop, or even a craft store around that's open. If you don't, then heck yeah give that paper clip a try, and keep your eyes peeled around the house for anything else that might work. Good luck with it.
