Default Question about using a Cessna f949 receiver in a home-built model

Hi I purchased cessna 949 s receiver which includes stabilization. I don't know if the fact that it has stabilization means if there's something equivalent to as 3x always enabled . if that's the case I would probably have to position the receiver flat on the fuselage and level and upright , but I wanted to mount it on the side of the airplane so I'm wondering if I have to do that or not. I know this stabilization can be turned off but if there's as3x that might be a problem because on the spectrum models the as3x cannot be turned off and I believe they can only be used with the receiver in the flat level position. Does anybody know the answer to this question ? thank you very much
