Default Herr 1/2 A J3 Cub Ailerons

Has anyone built the Herr 1/2A J3 Cub or a similar 1/2A plane with ailerons? I would like to add ailerons to this Herr kit and need any advice I can find. The Herr plans show an outline for a small aileron starting in the wing tip and extending about 10 3/4" toward the fuselage but other than looking at ailerons in other kits I'm not sure how to proceed. Anyone have a standard method for building ailerons in a 1/2A wing?

Thanks in advance,
Steve Hord

Just do it like any other wing. Use a piece of 2-56 threaded rod and a piece of aluminum tube to make torque rods. An HS-85 or maybe an HS-81 (I don't know the torque rating of the 81) will be all the servo you need.
