Default Nobler wing tips

Im currently building the TF Nobler and am thinking about deleting the wing tips. Has anyone done this? If so did it affect flight perfomance? The wing tips are 1/16 sheet balsa and are very light, but look like crud and seem to be very fragile.
Any help would be appreciated.

I competed my Nobler last year. Actually the tips look okay once covered. They are actually quite strong and you can rest the plane on the wing tips if you have to to fiddle, provided you do it gently. Mine are still okay despite some very dodgy landings and one crash. I say leave em on.

I agree with spoiler. I put the wing tips on, and once covered they aren't too bad. Granted covering them sucks, but they are relatively stable one covered. Mine took it's first flight yesterday...fast little rocket w/ an OS SX-50.

Cheers,
Jay

Why don't you sheet the wing tips. It's not that difficult, and it makes a world of difference when covering the tips.
