Here's mine. Its my first plane, recently completed. I wanted something different than white so I went with piper cub yellow. The regular yellow looked too bright. The trim on the sides are the stock decals. I didn't like the way the tail decal looked so I didn't use it. I made the stripes using coveritte graphic stripping tape. The thick lines on the wings are actually 3 stripes right next to each other. Also, its only on the top part of the plane, so at distances, you can tell what the attitude of the plane is from the stripes.
Good luck with yours,
Rob

I don't have any good pics at the moment, but should have some withing a week. I did a !QUOT!fan!QUOT! pattern in red on the top of the wing. It makes it really easy to see the orientation of the plane in flight. Used standard white and the decals for the rest.

The only critical thing on a trainer is to get the top wing and the bottom of the wing in contrasting markings. If you use a span wise stripe on the top then use a series of chordwise stripes on the bottom, or completely different colors. Helps in figguring if its turning towards or away from you.

I have a couple rolls of Corsiar Blue and a couple rolls of Aluminum to cover my LT-40. Just have to figure out a color scheme. Only thing I know I'd like to do at this point is to have the top and bottom contrast each other.
