Default Dihedral

I'm working on a Top Flite Elder 40. When putting together the wing halfs. The cats or the kids not sure which messed with them. The dihedral was set at 1 3/4" w/65" wing span. When I picked it up well there stright. But the dihedral is 3 13/16". And there glued good. The only way I can see is to band saw it down the middle open the wings up and try to build them back up. Which is a pain. Someone told me that they look like trainer wings. And it is a top wing flyer so it should fly more like a trainer anyway.

Any ideas?
Should I leave it, Cut it up and rebuild or order parts?

Leave it and see how it flies. It probably will make the plane more docile.

Yikes! That's a big difference. DaveB's right, it'll still fly, but rolls won't be quite so clean, and who knows what the rudder coupling will be like. OTOH, that's a very important joint. I'd hate to tear it apart and start over unless I was sure I could make it just as strong. I'd try it, though. See how it turns out, then build another wing if you're not sure.

I've built a number of planes over the years. All flew great. Now that I decided to build one for myself and try flying? [&o]
