I recently found and bought an old kit .32 to .40 size. It was manufactured in Japan by Pilot R/C. The plans were dried out and cracking so I taped them up had them copied. (only $4.00 at Office Max)
It is partially built, but I am going to re-kit it as the building quality leaves a lot to be desired. Has anyone built or flown this kit? Any input, insight or experiences would be appreciated.

No, it's all balsa 4-channel. The fuse has plywood formers with balsa strips forming the outer structure. The person who did the original assembly did not get the fuse straight and the one assembled wing has many loose glue joints, misformed tips and some hangar rash. Both wings use the same ribs, and I have the other set for templates. The tail feathers are easily stickbuilt. It will take a bit of TLC, but it should be worth the work from what I have seen.
