Hi.
I am going to build a Tower Uproar kit that a few days ago shipped to me and i'' have it i a few days.
But after this kit i want to build the Sig Rascal!
What do you think?
Is this a difficult kit?
Also have anyone of you built it yet?
Any pics or even a video?

Yes thank you!
I looked at Towerhobbies but the only kit from Rascal i found was a too small for a o.069 engine i think?
I want to find a 40 kit!
Can i find one?
Also what Rascal kit have you built and what engine did you use?

My Feedback: (16)
Sig is the manufacturer of the Rascal ARF's and kits. Other distributors sell them
Due to the many curves in the outline of the plane. The Rascal is not a good choice for a first kit.
Kits that are more simple with straight lines and low parts count would be a better choice for a first kit to build.
The plane certainly is a beauty.
Enjoy,
Jim

There is no 40 kit. They are ARFS

The rascal 40 and 110 is ARF, only Rascal kit is the small one for electric or .061 engine.
Check the web page for all SIG products.

Hehe!
Yes,yesterday shipped to me and the Sig Somethingextra from Hollein company!
In some days i will have it!
But i will build the Uproar 40 kit first and then the SSE!
Also i don't have a rotary tool for drilling, sanding etc.
I looked for a Dremel, but what do you suggest?

I have a Rotary tool but hardly use it at all.
Some people love them, I just haven't found much use for it... Get some of the basic supplies it'll be enough to build a simple laser cut kit like the SSE.
Later down the road you can get a rotary tool if you need it, but for your first build it's not a "must have".
A drill you need, I use a normal cordless Bosch powerdrill, this is pretty much the only electrical tool I use when building and fixing my planes.
....I'm waiting for my SSE to arrive too
